Back in February it was revealed that the former rugby player had been charged with aggravated fraud after allegedly taking part in a complex telemarketing scam on the Gold Coast, which reportedly robbed $22 million from innocent people, according to Nine News Queensland.
The Nine star shot to fame at the beginning of the year when he made a late entry to Married At First Sight Australia as an intruder. Originally paired with Tamara Joy, the single dad went on to shock viewers by conducting a secret affair with fellow MAFS star Jessika Power, before the pair parted ways after a very public spat.

Asked whether she would visit her ex if he ended up getting jail time, the 27-year-old cackled: “I’ll probably go to the courthouse, just to laugh at him when he gets sentenced.
“I would sit down in court and be like, ‘Bye-bye, Dan!’ You know, I found out about that through my publicist; I didn’t even find out about that through Dan. And we’d already talked on the phone. He’d gone, “Oh I thought it would make you think differently of me.” Mate. Wow. I just thought, “Are you on drugs?”
Dan was one of seven people charged in 2016 over the scam, which is alleged to have involved the syndicate cold call over 600 people in 2014.
Police claim Webb took advantage of vulnerable people and asked them to cough up between $500-$1000 for a four-day trial of investment and betting software before getting them to sign on to a 12-month contract, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports.
