The next story showed a beige box with gold, Gucci labelled earrings. "Gold Gucci studs," Lizzie wrote "Thank you @seb.guilhaus".
Well that certainly would have made a pretty big dent in the 31-year-old's pocket, with the earrings costing anywhere from $630 onwards.
With a gift that flashy, there was soon speculation that the pair are indeed back together.
Though, their relationship status still remains unclear - particularly considering the stories before the ones of the earrings involved Lizzie flogging a book about "breakups".
Seb himself shared Lizzie's words of gratitude on his own Instagram story, simply adding "Happy 30th" with a hug emoji.
The former MAFS couple announced they were calling it quits back in January after 14 months of dating.
"We have mutually decided to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. We want to thank everyone for the endless support we have received on our platforms," Lizzie and Seb's identical Instagram captions read.
"We are both respectful of each other and are still involved in each other’s lives. We both have cherished each other and have grown together. We would like to send love and well wishes to all."
It looks like there's no bad blood between the duo and, whether it be romantic or platonic, they remain soul mates. Let's hope the current Married At First Sight couples can follow in their lead.
