“That was a shock for myself and when that happened, I thought, am I in the right place?” Ning continues.
“I wouldn’t hang out with these people in the real world. I feel like if I talk to them or I’m too friendly with them I’m like disrespecting my friendship with Tam, or disrespecting my friendship with Mick,” an emotional Ning says.
However, expert John Aiken is quick to defend the panel of experts’ choice to allow Jessika and Dan to continue their relationship in the experiment. “The decision to allow Jess and Dan back in the experiment was controversial and one we didn’t take lightly. But at the end of the day it’s an experiment, if we intervened the experiment would no longer be an experiment.”
