"It’s hard, because you don’t get to see what really happens with the other couples. You only see them at the dinner parties and Commitment Ceremonies. And I was very much just using dinner parties to catch up with people and see how they were going," Jackson tells WHO.
"But people were kind of coming to us for advice and I was like… I’m on the same show as you guys, I also need the advice! You try to give them that advice but I’m pretty hopeless myself. I just got lucky [with Olivia]."
Jackson admits it was tough to fully comprehend both sides of the Holly vs Andrew feud at the time.
"It’s very hard, because we didn’t get to see all this other stuff and Andrew is a very good speaker," he reveals. "He’s a motivational speaker and Holly is kind of… not the best speaker. It was hard to hear her side or understand her point, if that makes sense, whereas Andrew made his points and was very in-depth so it was just very hard in that sense. A lot of what I’ve seen has surprised me.
"With Holly and Andrew, I could only understand his side at that point in time but now, watching it back, I can see it's very mean without needing to be. I understand his whole thing is wanting to 'speak honestly,' but there’s a nice way to tell the truth."
Jackson's comments were similar to those made by Domenica.
"The way I see the situation, is I can see he’s got a lot of that ego energy and a misogynistic vibe to him," Domenica said at the beginning of the night. After listening to Andrew and Holly throughout the evening, she cemented her views in support of her fellow bride.
"I think he’s very good at putting on a shield. He's a motivational speaker, so of course he’s going to paint everything in a positive light. I think we’re all a bit blinded by his beautiful 'I'm Tony Robbins' bull---t. Do I think that he's a bit of a bull---t artist? Yeah. I do. I’m seeing that now."
Domenica also spoke out against Tamara and Olivia in an interview with our sister site Now To Love, noting she didn't agree with Tamara telling Holly her standards were "too high."
"I was thinking, 'Babe why do you reckon you're here? Your standards are that high'. To say that to Holly I felt like that was very hypocritical," Domenica tells NTL.
"Don't even get me started on Olivia. I don't think anyone was expecting it but I think, you know, it's safe to say there's more to come in seeing a different side of people, not only of her but of everyone else," she says.
"As we get more invested in the experiment ourselves in our own couples, I think peoples more catty sides and true colours shine through."
At the end of the dramatic dinner party, Andrew walked out of the dinner party and claimed it was time for him to leave the experiment.
"Andrew leaving just makes me feel the same way I've felt this whole marriage. He’s not been on board with me since day one," Holly told producers.
While Tamara admitted she "prematurely judged" Holly after the dinner party, the trailer hints at further division to come for the contestants.
While the drama is still to play out on screen, it's clear some of the stars are feeling very different now that they've watched the episodes for themselves. Ella Ding reveals she felt sad for her co-stars.
“With Mitchell and I, you do get to see the relationship from a different perspective now,” Ella tells us. “I see things from a different point of view now and it’s the same with the other couples. We don’t get to see what happens behind closed doors and it’s crazy watching everyone do their tasks.
"I remember hearing things at dinner parties about events that happened and now it all makes sense [watching the show]. Really seeing what people were confessing to each other, there is so much more that went down.
"Even with Selin and Anthony, I had no idea. I had a little bit of an idea but I didn’t really talk to her a lot. So it’s pretty full on to see their experience. I’m not sitting there feeling overly anxious watching the show, but I’m just sad for the people who had such an upsetting and stressful time."
