Attempting to explain her actions, Ines has today told news.com.au that the bizarre posts were intended to mock the paparazzi.
“I’m actually taking the piss out of myself and the horrendous photographs and stories that are being published and written about me,” she told the online news site.
“I have a great sense of humour which I am using my Instagram feed to demonstrate. I want to draw attention to, and expose, the paparazzi photographers who are living in cars in my street and ideally stop them bullying me. They are a disgrace to their profession, and it reflects badly on the media as a whole.”
Ines’ manager Mark Markson also weighed in on the shock pics, claiming the level of intrusion Ines puts up with is something “even Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage don’t have to put up with.”
The reality star, who appears to have lost a dramatic amount of weight since the show aired, also spoke to The Kyle and Jackie O show earlier this week to explain her increasingly worrying behaviour.
'You're in this situation where the pressure is so huge, everything is done at the fastest pace,' she explained.
'Your mentality is operating under stress, you're not thinking right. You're being told to do these things. Honestly you don't have an option.'
