Along with ensuring all guests signed NDAs and handed their phones in before attending the nuptials, the couple also instructed the staff and caterers working on their big day to refrain from speaking to them directly.
Despite refusing to converse with anyone who wasn't a "manager", an employee told WHO every single person who worked on the event was required to sign paperwork.
It's also understood the wedding planners and staff were fed up with their disrespectful behaviour, revealing the MAFS golden couple thought they were "too big for their britches".
"They aren't royalty, but they were trying to get everything for nothing," another source dished, adding Jules and Cam received "a massive discount" in exchange for free publicity during their A Current Affair special which airs on Tuesday evening.
The not so flattering claims come after Jules' former best friend and MAFS co-star, Melissa Lucarelli, confirmed she did not attend the wedding yesterday. As we know, Jules allegedly dumped Mel as a bridesmaid and later cut her from the guest list.
Since revealing her friendship with the bubbly red-head is well and truly over, Mel told her Instagram followers last night she was still upset by Jules' "cold" and "hurtful" actions.
"I've had so many messages and people keep asking me what the story is. So yes, it is true, Jules dumped me as a bridesmaid," a tearful Mel said during a video posted to her Instagram story. "As for why, I'm honestly not sure... she kept changing her reasons and none of them made sense.
She continued: "It really all just came out of the blue and I didn't see it coming at all. Of course, you're allowed to change your mind about who you want as a bridesmaid, but I just feel like the way it was done was really cold and rather hurtful."
Mel also admitted she felt "humiliated" when she discovered Jules and Cam had agreed for their wedding to be televised on TV this week.
"I guess it just makes the public dumping of you as a bridesmaid for no reason that little bit more embarrassing, hurtful, confusing," a distressed Mel revealed. "I wish I was never asked to be a bridesmaid in the first place so I wasn't in this position."
While Jules is yet to publicly address their bitter falling out, both Jessika Power and Tamara Joy— who starred alongside the pair on MAFS— have taken Mel's side amid the drama.
"I actually have to back Mel on this. Throughout filming, Jules would say Martha [Kalifatidis] and I were only there for social media and endorsements, but since the show ended it seems that's all Jules is for also," Jessika revealed in a video posted to her Instagram a few weeks back.
"It's really sad to see that Jules dropped Mel as a bridesmaid but not surprising, it seems everything that woman does these days is calculated and beneficial for her and her only.
Then, in an Instagram Q&A, Jess took another swipe at her archenemy, slamming her for allegedly being an expert at "milking" the drama and turning bad press into a profit.
"I think Mel is such a bubbly girl. She's not about the drama. She's so open, honest and genuine," Jessika began. "So to see her dropped as a bridesmaid... I wasn't that shocked. I stand by what I said and a lot of what Jules does is calculative. I think she has learnt how to milk what is happening."
She went on to sarcastically praise Jules, saying: "I mean, good on you and all power to you if you can get things out of this opportunity. But to see somebody like Mel hurt and be shout out and neglected... it's just sh*t."
