In another shot, the 31-year-old is shown watching Drew walk into the building, leading her to bury her head in her hands. Meanwhile, he seems pretty relaxed and calm, appearing unbothered to be seeing his ex-wife so soon after calling it quits.
While we're not sure what the catalyst was, perhaps Connie Crayden's accusations that the dance teacher hooked up with her husband Jonethen Musulin could have something to do with their seemingly messy breakup.
“There was an almost couple swap between KC and Jonny that never came to air,” Connie told Hit 96.9 Goulburn Valley hosts Josiah and Herbie. “There was a little something going on there, I don’t know the full extent of it though.”
While we thought she would've been beside herself— seeing as she so desperately tried to win Jono over— the 27-year-old told the radio hosts she wasn't phased when she discovered they'd shared a kiss.
“This guy (Jonny) had written leave three times. I don’t really feel like I was in a position to be upset or jealous. I was just like, ‘Yeah, cool’,” she added.
Fellow bride Natasha Spencer also echoed a similar sentiment last week when she revealed MAFS showrunners tried extremely hard to push the pair together.
“KC and Jonny went on a date,” she revealed to the Daily Mail Australia. “They got partnered together and sent on a high-class date.”
Then, of course, there was Michael Goonan's not so subtle hint that he was dating KC, however, he backtracked a few weeks later and said he had no idea where this allegation came from... Hmm, I don't know? YOU?
"Everyone keeps asking me if I'm with KC or if I'm not. Honestly, it’s getting fired at me that many times it’s ridiculous. I don’t honestly know where that came from," the controversial businessman said.
Attempting to call his bluff, a sceptical Chrissie reminded Michael of a conversation he recently had on-air in which he said: "I can 100 per cent say I'm with someone from the show"
Clearly panicking that he'd been caught out, Michael freaked out and instead insinuated he was actually dating one of the MAFS producers.
“100% but everyone thinks of the show as being 20 people but there is 200 people that work on that show you know what I mean. You meet a lot of people."
"So you’re saying you’re seeing a producer? A caterer, a janitor?" Chrissie interjected.
"I’ll tell you this, my partner is absolutely amazing, she’s a wonderful girl," he responded.
