“No, I didn’t apologise to Mishel, no,” said Steve, in his default defiant mode. “I didn’t think there was nothing to apologise for.”
Reaction to which included Mishel rolling her eyes, to Stacey putting her head in her hands.
“You didn’t allow her to have your back,” Stacey chimes in from across the room.
“The thing was, it was how Mishel was treated,” Michael said, backing his wife. “I remember holding Mishel’s hand and she was shaking while you were losing your temper.”
Steve was incredulous, shaking his head, becoming visibly agitated and repeating "Deary me."
“You didn’t even apologise. You apologised to everyone else. You’re a people pleaser, you’re not pleasing your wife,” said Stacey.
Mishel had previously admitted that she’d written an eight-page-long list of everything she disliked about Steve’s personality.
“Things that he needs to know,” she’d told Aleks and Vanessa. “I’m going to read it to him”
Sadly, she didn’t share the missive immediately, first she shared how Steve continually told her to be quiet.
“I’m not a child, I’m a 48-year-old woman,” she said. “I’m very, very aware of the way you try to control me. And I’ve got a list of stuff,” she said, then pulling out some paper.
Turns out Mishel isn’t allowed to swear, or say “wee” or “poo” and he only ever stands over her, he won’t meet her at eye level.
“I’m outta here,” she said. “And you can have the ring too.”
And with that Mishel beamed the biggest smile we’ve since the start of the season.
