During their chat, the irate photographer— who accused Nine Network of covering up a massive BTS scandal involving her TV husband— also spilled new information about a juicy girls' night fight between Hayley Vernon, Elizabeth Sobinoff and Stacey Hampton, revealing it was "far worse" in real life.
"They definitely took out some pretty crazy bits. I think things were thrown. We were rocking in the fetal position after that girls' night," Poppy said.
While she didn't go into detail, Connie Crayden said last month that much of the footage from that fateful evening was too "vile" and rogue to air.
"When Hayley told Stacey, 'Did you get your degree out a cereal box?' Stacey snapped back with something else that was so vile. It was so bad," the aspiring marine biologist told Hit Mid North Coast's Krysti and Bodge.
"Hayley said, 'Did you get your degree from a cereal box?' and Stacey goes, 'Yeah, well at least I don't suck c**k for a living!'"
According to Connie, many of her co-stars sat there in shock as the enemies hurled disgusting insults at each other, unsure whether it was the right thing to intervene in a fight volatile.
"It was a lot worse in real life. They showed you the G rated version. It got really, really, bad. And it was quite heavily edited," she added.
"That night was just vile. That's the only word I can describe for it. It went from zero to 10 in a heartbeat. I was just sitting there with my head in my hands, looking at the ground and thinking, get me out of here."
Returning bride Elizabeth also opened up about her explosive altercation with Hayley that evening, admitting she was horrified by her action.
"I'm appalled at my behaviour," the MAFS alum told TV Week.
Admitting she saw red when she discovered Hayley had cheated on her TV husband with Michael Goonan, Lizzie was extremely triggered given her past experience with Sam Ball.
"I'd formed a close bond with Stacey and had heard about the cheating," Lizzie revealed.
"I was very protective of Stacey. Hayley was pummelling Stacey as a person. You could see Stacey was hurting. I'm there going, 'Hang on – aren't you the one who, while this woman was at home with her kids, decided to hook up with her partner?'"
"I am not proud of my actions. I was pushed to my limits."
