Despite confessing he had doubts earlier in the episode, Dan absolutely lets down his walls and tells Jess he’s madly in love with her. "You caught my attention from the moment I met ya... but I'm not proud of how we met...there were moments I was broken," he begins.
Jess takes in his words, smiling proudly.
"But life is too short and I came here to find love someone who I could bring home to meet my son, a girl who would bring out the best in me and... I found that girl in you."
"Oh my gosh!" Jess says hardly able to contain her excitement.
"A future without you is too much to bear... I love you Jess and I can't wait for you to be my girl," he says.
"I love you too my baby!" she responds.
"On that note there is one more thing. I have something to symbolise our commitment to one another..." he says reaching into his pocket, only to reveal a rose-gold ring.
"Oh Dan!" she shrieks.
"I'd love nothing more for you to wear this ring…" Dan says.
"Yes!" screams with delight.
Eek, we’ve got to admit it – perhaps these two really ARE a match made in (producers) heaven.
