It all begins as Heidi has a bone to pick with her husband – she makes a complaint in front of the whole group because he used all the clean towels – a valid statement, but then she goes on to call Mike “inconsiderate.”
"He uses all the towel and outs them on the ground. Just inconsideration..."
It feels awkward, but expert John Aiken interrupts Heidi and asks: "Do you think he's inconsiderate?"
"Yes," Heidi quickly responds.
At this stage, Mike starts to have second thoughts about moving in with Heidi because of her harsh comments.
"It makes me feel worthless... I want to throw my hands in the air, it might be too hard... I'm having second thoughts," he admits.
Expert John reveals he thinks Heidi’s issue is bigger than towels and is, in fact, a sight of her commitment phobia. As farfetched as it appears, Heidi agrees that her focus on small things is her way of avoiding facing larger issues at play.
"When you get scared, rather than say I'm feeling scared you point out things that are wrong," says John.
Heidi nods and agrees. Both choose to stay after committing to change their behaviour.
"I'm gonna pick up my behaviour and pick up the towels," says Mike.
Yep, they’re ALREADY acting like an old married couple!
