"We left LA, we had to show a negative test in order to leave and get on the plane so we showed a negative test leaving America. As soon as we landed in Australia we did another test, we showed another negative test and that was Christmas Eve so we went to Christmas with our family. Someone at Christmas had COVID and we're pretty sure we got it at Christmas."
Whilst some other people in the family have it, Martha's mum Mary "by some miracle" tested negative.
"COVID sucks, it is so f---ing s---, some people are like 'Oh it's just a cold' - it is just a virus but it's a pretty s--- one," the beauty influencer stated.
Described as "cold and flu symptoms and tonsillitis and gastro all in one", Martha explained that they've been dealing with symptoms including sore throat, chest burning, nausea, vomiting, fever and chills.
"Michael actually got hit really hard with it...didn't you decorate the spare room?" she laughed.
The MAFS alum also highlighted that she and her fiancé are both double vaxxed, adding, "All I can say is good luck to anyone who gets COVID and they haven't been vaxxed."

The couple's diagnosis comes shortly after Martha told her fans and followers that their LA trip was "terrible".
"It's changed so much since Covid. The homelessness situation is so bad. I can't even begin to describe it. We drove past a lifeless body face down in a gutter outside a gas station on Melrose, f---ing Melrose! [People] driving and walking past it completely unbothered!" she said earlier this month.
"I felt sick. The crime rate is up 300%! Every Uber driver told us to beware, don't wear anything flashy because [people] have been getting robbed at gunpoint.
"It's such a scary time, we are so lucky in Australia! I will not be coming back to LA/USA for a very long time! It's been horrifying! We felt completely unsafe the entire time!" she concluded.
