Whilst Poh has been a consistent fan favourite, viewers suspect Emelia could make it all the way to the end.
The Melbourne based cake maker is the bookie's favourite to take the crown with odds at $1.10 and her popularity is rising on social media.
Emelia breezed through the pressure test when contestants were asked to recreate guest chef Kirsten Tiddballs' Meljito - a 75-step watermelon dessert cocktail.
“I can’t fault any of it – she should be congratulated," chef Kirsten said of Emelia's chocolate, watermelon, lime, mint and vodka flavoured creation.
Twitter was flooded with praise for Emelia, who previously starred on the show on season six.
"Omg my girl Emelia won the immunity challenge?? I've been saying since day 1, she's gonna win this! Some people haven't watched s6 and it shows... just because she's been paid dust in terms of screen time this season doesn't mean it's coming out of nowhere!" one enthusiastic fan tweeted.
Another wrote, "This episode is The Emelia Show and I’m here for it."
Former marketing coordinator Emelia went on to open her own cake business after her first stint on the show when she placed third.
Emelia, who runs her business from her parents' kitchen, admits that she became more resilient and confident after her time on MasterChef season six.
"If I was to win season 12, I would be able to move my business into a cake studio which would honestly make the world of difference," she admitted.
"If I won I don't know if there'd be a better feeling in the world."
