Since Addie came into the picture, Emelia has said that despite it being a full-on job, she loves parenting.
"I really do love being a mummy. It's incredibly hard, relentless, rewarding, special and fun. It's a feeling I could never have imagined until I had her," she mused in an Instagram Q&A.
What's more, we bet a lot of mums can relate to the two main things she's been surprised to learn.
"1. The instant feeling of crazy love I felt for this little bean as soon as I saw her. 2. That something this small, can produce the farts she does. It's truly wild."
However, like many parents in the public eye, Emelia and partner Craig aren't sharing photos of Addie's face online.
"My following is just too large and I've received some really sick/violating/creepy messages in the past. So I'm not willing to expose her like that," the MasterChef star explained via Instagram.
What's more, the Melbourne couple have spent a lot of the past 18 months in and out of lockdown.
"It's been quite tough this time around if I'm being honest," Emelia confessed in August this year. "Lots of my friends still haven't met my beb, I've been furiously writing my book and trying to be really present with my girl. It's a juggling act that's for sure."

Shortly after Addie's arrival, Emelia shared two pictures featuring her precious newborn.
"My best creation yet 💖 04•06•21," she sweetly captioned the post.
Whilst we know her name now, for a while Emelia and Craig kept it private.
"We’re keeping her to ourselves for now x," the mum-of-one replied to a fan when asked if she has a name.
