One thing these two DO agree on, is their shared love for food. And it’s this that brought them together to compete on the show.
“We’re chalk and cheese in every way, but food brings everyone together - even us,” admits Bianca. “And Pat’s best trait is he can cook.
“It was both our idea (to enter the competition),” Pat explains. “We both love to cook Italian food for our families, and we thought what a great way to showcase our love of food, contrasting personalities, and cooking styles, to the rest of Australia.”
These two aren't so sure they’ll have sparks with the other contestants - but they CAN guarantee audiences will see them clash in the kitchen.
“[Bianca is] extremely snappy,” says Pat. “Everyone in life is below her. [You never know] which one of the six personalities you are going to get today.
“She doesn’t know how to smile, and is always looking for a negative in any situation. Bianca Is ALWAYS right because, hey, everyone - Bianca is a statistician!”
But don’t worry - Bianca is just as scathing about her teammate.
“He is an enormous micromanager,” she says. “He gets VERY stressed in the kitchen and often has ‘idiot attack’s mid cook.
“He is extremely selfish - he takes 17 hours to wake up and be of any use to us.”
One trait they both have in common is their competitiveness - the other teams had better watch out.
“I’m not here to make best friends; I’m not even here with a friend,” says Bianca, who is currently single. “I’m going to work harder than any other team. I’m not here for second place.”
