Following her high-profile marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was given the prestigious role as the Duchess of Sussex. Now, Kensington Palace has announced the royal's new role.
Meghan is now officially patron of the Royal Foundation, along with Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The foundation is in the process of changing it's full name to 'The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex' to reflect the change.
On Monday, a request was put in to Companies House.
The foundation has also changed its ‘About’ page to include the Duchess of Sussex.
It's a quick change for the foundation. When the Duchess of Cambridge married Prince William in 2011, there was a much bigger time gap between her wedding and joining the foundation, which changed its name to include her in July 2012.
