A source told The Sun: "Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life.
"She has sometimes worried about being so far away but she is absolutely going to be there for her at the birth."
Doria, a yoga teacher, is said to have secretly left her home in LA last week to fly to the UK and has hired a house sitter to walk her dogs.
"Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mum and the two have been enjoying spending time together."
Prince Harry and Meghan caused a frenzy online this week when they created their own, joint Instagram account. Just days after making the account public, @SussexRoyal gained more than 3 million followers.
It could be highly likely that the royals share the first photo of their baby on their new Instagram page.
