In a follow-up tweet she said, “...and to The Mail, I see your campaign against my friend continues. Nice photoshop of my non-photoshopped image. Now may we all get back to the spirit of Christmas and not the spirit of maliciousness.”
Gavankar went on to share the original photo, saying The Mail has actually doctored the image themselves.
The card was released last week by a recipient and has since been confirmed at legitimate.

The royals have been spotted taking time out on Vancouver Island, with eyewitnesses sharing details about what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been up to.
Bev Koffel, who owns the Deep Cove Chalet restaurant with her husband Pierre, told the Vancouver Sun that she had seen royal couple around in North Saanich, and had even met with their security guards at the waterfront eatery.
