Sally even shared the photo of Miley on her own Instagram account captioning it: "I trained Tish well!;) @tishcyrus @mileycyrus #virtualhaircut lol"
Mary's fans and followers clearly loved the fresh cut judging by the enthusiastic comments.
"No one rocks the mullet like @mileycyrus," one fan write.
"Fun, fresh and now, luv it," wrote another.
In January, Miley debuted her mullet haircut (cut by Sally) on Instagram, captioning her photos: "New hair. New year. NEW MUSIC."
The Joan Jett inspired look was a sign of big changes following her tumultuous 2019 when she and husband Liam Hemsworth ended their 10 year on-off relationship.
Miley is keeping busy in isolation with her Instagram talk show Bright Minded and confessed that she'd only washed her hair for two of the guests - both of whom are pretty high-profile.
"I've only washed my hair twice for the show: once for Elton John and once for Senator [Elizabeth] Warren," she told Derek Blasberg for WSJ. Magazine.
"With Elizabeth Warren, I was so nervous I even put on a nice linen blouse,” she added. “I don’t even own a friggin’ blouse! Everything in my closets is studded or leather or latex, honey. So I’m going through my damn closet, like, 'What am I going to wear to interview the friggin’ senator?' That was my main stress, of course.”
