Miley's controversial comment comes less than a month after she and her actor husband Liam Hemsworth were caught arguing in public and subsequently hit with split rumours. Days after their awkward spat, the "Wrecking Ball" singer ranted at Glastonbury that she was "f**ing sick of men" leading many fans to believe that was her way of confirming the pair had called it quits.
Miley has since hit back at divorce rumours, setting the record straight.
The 26-year-old commented on a fans Instagram post which questioned the status of her relationship with the Hunger Games star.
"Miley sang the song 'Wrecking Ball' and she said, 'I'm f***ing sick of men,' I hope Miley and Liam's relationship still going good but I'm not sure," wrote the fan.
"It was politically directed," the former Disney star confirmed.
