Miranda became a mum for the first time in 2011 but even when she and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor separated in 2013, she made Flynn the ultimate priority.
“When Orlando and I first separated our priority was always Flynn and making sure that, you know, Flynn was happy and his needs were always at the forefront, and so we were very amicable from the beginning,” Miranda told Nova FM’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny in October 2020.
Now that Orlando is engaged to singer Katy Perry who have a daughter of their own, Daisy Dove, and Miranda has remarried, their blended family is working wonders.
"I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing," the model and KORA Organics founder told Drew Barrymore on her chat show in November 2020.
"When it comes to special occasions, when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises [about] what is the best for our whole family. We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that's the most important thing."

In May 2017, Miranda married Snapchat creator Evan Spiegel with whom she shares her two youngest sons - Hart born in 2018 and Myles born in 2019.
"Sometimes I have to just stop and pinch myself because we have three healthy children, we're both doing what we love," Miranda told E! News in February 2021.
The mum-of-three, who is based in LA, is renowned for her passion for wellness but it shows in how she parents too. Not only does she end her workday at a specific time so she can spend time with her family, but she and Evan also avoid working on Sundays so they can be with their kids.
"It's definitely a juggling act. When most people text me, they're like 'How are you?' I send them the juggling emoji because that's how I feel, especially with my two youngest ones, a one-year-old and a two-year-old, and I'm still breastfeeding my one-year-old," Miranda confessed.
While Miranda says they live in a very busy household as parents to three children, she reveals she hasn't ruled out having a fourth child.
"I'm definitely happy with the three boys, but it’s something that I know my husband really wants, and now that I’ve said, ‘OK, well, let’s see,’ I’m definitely open to it," she tells Body + Soul in a new interview.
Though she doesn't share photos of her kids on social media, Miranda shares loving tributes to her boys on their birthdays.
To mark Hart's third birthday, the proud mum shared a photo of his train cake and captioned it: "Happy Birthday my darling Hart. I can’t believe you’re 3 today! You’re our sunshine ☀️ We adore you! 💖🌈🎂"
For Flynn's 11th birthday in 2021, Miranda shared a throwback photo from his childhood.
"Happy 11th Birthday to my little sunshine Flynn! ☀️ You have filled my heart with joy from the very moment you were born. I’m so proud of how kind, creative and thoughtful you are. You inspire me every day," she captioned the sweet post.
