Miranda Kerr might be one of the most recognised faces in the world of modeling, but she has made a surprising confession about her successful career.
Celebrating two decades in the industry this year, 33-year-old admitted that she didn't want to be a model.
“It’s kind of weird – I never took modeling very seriously,” she told Stellar magazine.
The former Victoria's Secret model, who shares son Flynn, five, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom revealed that she entered the industry as a way to make a living.
“I was like OK, well, this is a means to an end. I will be able to work and pay the bills and meet creative and interesting people," Kerr explained.
"I never really had that desire to be a model."
Miranda also spoke about her wedding to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel. Kerr and Spiegel, 26, plan to wed next year and “keep our wedding small and intimate”.
