Mr. Inbetween first premiered in the US on 2018 on FX, and then Fox Showcase in Australia the following month.
It received instant critical claim, and was called one of 2018’s best shows, which was excellent news for Scott, who not only stars in the show, but writes it as well.
He went on to win Best New Talent at the 2018 AACTA Awards, and Most Outstanding Actor at the 2019 Logie Awards.
Despite the success of the show, it seems it has now come to an end, with the third season slated to be the last.
Over the weekend, Scott took to Instagram to celebrate the end of the show.
“Huge thanks to everybody who worked on the show. Really was a team effort in the truest sense of the word. And to all the fans, thank you for all your support. This was a story worth telling and I hope you all feel the same. #mrinbetween,” he wrote alongside a picture of his character, Ray.
Fellow celebs shared their sadness that the show was over in the comments section.
“Miss it and you already! 😢😍,” wrote Chrissie Swan.
“Love this show, you’re brilliant! Thank you,” said actress Asher Keddie.
“Loved it 🔥👏,” wrote Ben Gillies, musician from the band Silverchair.
