Ash & Stacey
Ash and Stacey are a couple - with a twist. Ash only has one eye.
"I was at party and two blokes were fighting," he tells his fellow teammates. "I tried to push everyone apart and calm the situation down. The guy tried to hit the other guy with a glass but got me in the eye."
"The doctors kept giving me operations which kept me out of the surf and that was making me crazy. I said, 'Get my eye out. I want to be back in the water.'"
Speaking about his partner, he joked, "I think she's into pirates!"
Drama is certainly in store, with Stacey slicing her finger. Thankfully Ash has her in giggles, joking, "If I can do it with one eye you can do it with one finger.
