Previewing its 2019 TV season this morning, Seven has announced that the enduringly popular cooking show ‘will test teams like never before with new challenges, new locations, new faces and new rewards.’ And WHO can confirm that involves at least one big twist in the format.
This year the show will match some ‘perfect strangers’ in the quest for the $250,000 prize money - adding an extra dimension of difficulty and drama to the competition.
Following a season this year that included a number of highly explosive personality clashes, the forthcoming 2019 season is promising ‘a record number of perfect scores’ – indicating that the quality of culinary competition will please hungry fans.
Judges Manu Feildel and Pete Evans – and Colin Fassnidge – are all returning.
'Real food. Real people. Some of them are crazy,' says Colin of the new season.
