From the 1st of April, the streaming giant is bringing you a hilarious action-packed superhero comedy starring Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Octavia Spencer (Ma) to a new season of the viral Netflix reality TV series about social media, The Circle, and a gripping documentary about the world’s biggest art heist, to name a few.

And, really, we’re already planning our weekend plans around our upcoming binge.

So, grab your popcorn and ready your position on the couch because here’s all the amazing TV shows and films you can expect to catch on Netflix next month.

Netflix.

Thunder Force

Thunder Force is a hilarious new action-packed comedy about Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer as two childhood best friends who suddenly become superheroes after one of them (Spencer) invents a formula that gives everyday people superpowers - from super-strength to invisibility.

But, as one scene in the trailer where the pair try to stop a robbery at a petrol station and tase someone to death, it isn’t that easy to go from everyday person to a newly super one.

Fun fact: the film was also filmed in Sydney, too.

Thunder Force comes to Netflix on the 9th of April.

Dolly Parton: A MusiCares Tribute

Dolly Parton: A MusiCares Tribute is an emotional and heartwarming documentary about the success, career and personality that is country music star Dolly Parton, taken from a star-studded concert paying tribute with iconic performers.

The Circle

Netflix’s hit reality TV show The Circle is officially back for a second season this April.

For those not in the know, The Circle is a reality TV show unlike any other: a bunch of people live in an apartment complex and can only communicate through a social media-like platform as they try to catfish, network and hustle their way to not getting eliminated.

When the first season dropped last year, it raised some important questions about how we interact on social media and in online dating, and we can’t wait to see what this season has in store.

The Circle: Season Two officially lands on Netflix Australia on the 14th April.
