Gilmore Girls fans, brace yourselves! There's a good chance Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life will return to Netflix.
Netflix chief officer Ted Sarandos revealed they are in "very preliminary" talks with show creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
"We hope [there are more instalments]. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped," Sarandos said during a talk at the UK Press Association.
"People were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that," he added.
Back in November, Sherman-Palladino brushed off rumours of a second instalment.
"We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey," she told The Hollywood Reporter in November. "So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do. And the whole thought about, 'Is there more, is there more, is there more?' — this has to go out into the universe now. We've got to put this to bed."
However, Lauren Graham was more inclined to the idea when visiting the US Today show.
"The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger, don't cha think?"
