Rapper 50 Cent has been arrested in the Caribbean following an onstage incident.
The Candy Shop hitmaker (born Curtis Jackson), 40, allegedly used the word mother—ker while performing on June 25 at the St Kitts Music Festival in St Kitts and Nevis.
Police reportedly arrested Jackson and entourage member Bajar Walter shortly after the concert finished and charged them with using indecent language. The pair will face court on June 27 and are expected to be issued with a fine, though using profanities in public is a jailable offence on the dual-island nation.
This is not the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper’s first brush with the law. As a teenager, Jackson served six months in a “boot camp” correctional facility for selling drugs.
