An Aldi wine just won a gold medal in the 2017 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.
The One Road South Australian Heathcote Shiraz 2016 costing just $6.99 is the cheapest wine on the list to be awarded with the gold scoring.
To put it into perspective, there were other wines who won a gold medal that cost $70 and $130.
The Aldi drop even beat out a $350 bottle that was awarded a silver medal.
