A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack has been charged over possessing child pornography.

Police raided the ACA office at the Nine Network’s headquarters in Sydney this morning.
They seized computers, a mobile phone, and electronic storage devices.
“I can confirm that officers from the New South Wales police have been at [Nine] this morning investigating matters relating to a staff member at A Current Affair,” Nine’s Director of News and Current Affairs Darren Wick said in an email to staff.
“It’s a personal matter that does not relate to the program or Nine.”
McCormack was arrested in Sydney this morning and taken to Redfern police station for questioning.
A NSW Police statement said a 42-year-old man “was arrested by strike force detectives during a vehicle stop on Driver Avenue, Moore Park. The man was … charged with using a carriage service for child pornography material.”
Police will also allege “the man was engaged in sexually explicit conversations about children with an adult male and discussed child pornography.”
A long-time employee for ACA, McCormack was the reporter who tracked down Hey Dad..! star Robert Hughes in Singapore in 2010, ahead of his conviction on child sex offences.
Investigations continue.
