Adele has officially filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Simon Konecki, according to legal documents filed in the US.
The filing comes five months after the British singer, 31 and Konecki, 45 – who share six-year-old son, Angelo together – announced in a joint statement that they had split following seven years together.

A representative for Adele said at the time: “Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
They married in a secret ceremony in 2016, with Adele publicly addressing the wedding for the first time during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys, where she thanked her husband.

Konecki, a former student at prestigious London private school, Eton, had a successful career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers before opting to head to the non-profit sector in 2005.
Back in July, Adele sparked speculation that she had already moved on by attending a music festival with a “mystery man.”
