The Free State of Jones star is returning to his alma mater, the University of Texas at Austin, to help teach a class on filmmaking.
The university announced their newest Oscar-winning lecturer in a social media post Thursday. According to the video, his Free State of Jones director Gary Ross will also teach the class.
The actor will take 30 students behind the scenes of the duo’s new film through recorded videos, according to the San Antonio Express-Times. The school says McConaughey will make at least one visit to campus for the class.
