Amal Clooney is a style icon in her own right and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to what to wear and when.
The 38-year-old attorney stunned in a Dolce and Gabbana night-gown inspired silk gown and accessorised with a small gold clutch and show-stopping earrings. For his part, her husband George Clooney opted for a powder blue suit and white dress shirt for the evening out.
The couple are on holiday on Lake Como, Italy at the moment and spending some well-earned downtime with friends and family, including Clooney’s parents Nick and Nina Clooney and long time friend, Bill Murray.
The actor has recently wound-up the filming of his latest movie, Money Monster, which grossed just under $89.5 million at the box office, while Amal is currently working on around 11 high-profile human rights cases.
In an interview with ET, George said, “It’s amazing, because she’s always – since the day I met her – she’s always had this insanely – it’s eccentric but it’s fun – sense of fashion.
“How she does it while she’s got 11 cases she’s working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she’s still like, ‘I want to wear that dress.’ It’s crazy,” he said. “It has been sort of fascinating to watch, because she has such great taste.”
