The new series is set to be a twist on the popular format in which Aussie acts will take on some of the best Got Talent champions from around the globe.
New judges Sonia Kruger and Olympia Valance will join returning judges Shane Jacobson and Manu Feildel – alongside shock jock Kyle Sandilands who yesterday announced he is set to make an appearance as a gust judge.
Ricki-Lee will also return as the host of the hit talent competition.
Australia’s Got Talent: Challengers & Champions sees some of the best entertainers in Australia going head to head with the world’s most memorable Got Talent acts, all vying to be crowned the ultimate champion and walk away with the $100,000 prize.
Seven’s Director of Network Programming, Angus Ross, said: “This promises to be the Olympics of talent where to be the best, you’ll have to beat the best. It’s world class competition with all the surprising and sometimes weird moments Aussie families have come to love from AGT.”
The audition stages of the competition will be filmed at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre this month. To be part of the audience, go to www.australiasgottalent.com.au.
