WATCH: The first trailer for BIP is here and it’s bloody wild

Well, if this hint by Network 10 boss, Daniel Monaghan is anything to go by, it’s sooner than you think.
According to Monaghan, who is Head of Programming at the network, the show will ideally kick off “before Easter”, but deliberately after Married at First Sight wraps up, which is expected for early April.

“We’ll be clear of each other and there’s no point splitting the audience,” he told TV Tonight in January.

With Easter falling this year on Apr. 12, and past seasons having started in late March/early April, it sounds like BiP will screen sooner rather than later. And if it has the same schedule as last year, we can expect to watch Bachelor in Paradise Tuesday to Thursday on Channel 10.

Talking to the TV Blackbox podcast in December 2019, Monaghan said that it had been a “stellar season” of Bachelor in Paradise. “We’re really comfortable with how that’s landed and the love that’s come out of it, at the end,” he said. “You know, we love the drama, but to have love at the end of it as well is really refreshing.”

Earlier today Channel 10 evealed the main five unlucky-in-love cast members who are hoping to find ‘the one’ in the upcoming season of Bachelor In Paradise. As if that wasn’t enough to satisfy us, the network also dropped the first teaser trailer.

As we all expected, Abbie Chatfield— who was left heartbroken on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor— is trying her hand at love again and already has her sights on Ciarran Stott— the affable larrikin who was left devastated when Angie Kent chose Carlin Stott instead.

Thankfully, the Brit will have someone to confide in with his close friends Timm Hanly and Jamie Doran joining the cast.

Brittany Hockley from Nick Cummins’ disastrous season of The Bachelor is also heading to paradise with Bachelor stars Helena Sauzier, Mary Viturino, Jessica Brody, Brittney Weldon and Cassandra Mamone in tow.
