Now financial adviser James Trethewie is taking a second chance at finding love on this year’s Bachelor In Paradise.
The WWF ambassador tells WHO: “I want someone with a heart of gold, who’s warm and also passionate about the environment.”
James, 33, had a brief relationship after filming The Bachelorette and fans asked what happened when it was announced he was appearing on the reality-show spin-off, sparking rumours he dumped his girlfriend to appear on the show.
“We split up in May or June but it was only reported in September,” James reveals.
“Unlike other people, I didn’t feel the need to do a public announcement about my break-up. I like to keep things pretty private.”
