Bachelor in Paradise's Brett needs reality TV lessons

Oh Brett. Some people— most people — are not built for reality TV. This isn’t a bad thing. Others were made for it. Take Keira. Within two minutes of her Bachelor in Paradise introduction, she let us know that she’s just gotten a boob job, has veneers (but hates veneers in others— sorry Michael Turnbull) and is basically ready to play.

She knows the game, she knows her place and she knows the stakes. Yes, she’s out to meet someone but she’s clearly very in tune with the fact that she’s making television. Brett, on the other hand, said it himself when he admitted that he was best known for only saying “two words on Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette.”

So all we really know about Brett, other than he has a real aversion to doing up his top two buttons, is that he may or may not have a girlfriend. And even that fact had to be pried out of him by a fourth-wall breaking producer. So hang in there buddy, no matter how this all plays out, you’ve managed to create a reality TV story line! Job well done.
