While Carlin Sterritt may have won Angie Kent’s heart in the season finale of The Bachelorette, he did something that has left viewers horrified.

Angie may have walked away with the love of her life on Thursday night, but while the response to Carlin winning was generally positive, many fans took issue with the F45 trainer’s romantic gesture upon hearing Angie had chosen him.
Viewers quickly took to social media to slam the “disgusting” commitment ring he gave the Gogglebox star, labelling the gold band as “ugly.”
“To help us remember this experience, I’m going to give you the ugliest ring known to mankind…” one angry fan wrote on Twitter, while another exclaimed, “Even Carlin’s ring is boring! Come on dude wtf.”
Last night, after letting a broken-hearted Timm go, Angie dried up her tears and prepared to let Carlin in on the news.
“I can’t imagine this experience without you,” she told him as the pair stood, surrounded by lush Byron Bay bushland.
“From the red carpet, I felt so calm and I never feel calm straightaway, especially with a guy. I get in my head and I haven’t allowed myself to be like that. And you did. There was something about you. There was no doubt in my mind at all who I wanted to give that first date to. It was you.”
“There’s no doubt in my mind now that I feel like you are the perfect guy for me. And I am completely falling in love with you,” she added.
