When Ali Oetjen signed on to be Australia’s new Bachelorette, she was hopeful of finding the man she would spend rest of her life with after a string of failed relationships, including an engagement.
Now, WHO can reveal that not only is the 32-year-old from Adelaide madly in love, but she is currently planning her wedding day to her new beau, who will be revealed during the season finale of the popular reality show.
And it’s clear Oetjen can’t wait to tie the knot, revealing it will be a “chilled-out beach wedding”.
She also admits that she’s having a hard time picking out the perfect dress for her special day.
“I don’t know,” she laughs, when asked what style of gown she will choose.
“I am a romantic type, but I’ve never been one to design my dress or think about the ring and all that. All I know is that I want it on the beach.”
When it comes to what song she wants to walk down the aisle to, Oetjen already has that covered.
“I want the song ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’,” she adds with a beaming smile.
“But the more I keep on saying that, the more people say ‘Oh yes, I love that … I had that song at my wedding’.”
