It’s customary to enjoy a glass of Champagne after tying the knot, but for teetotallers Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell, their wedding day celebrations were rather different.

Bindi has famously admitted that she’s never touched a drop of alcohol, so when the newlyweds wedding was featured in an episode of Crikey! It’s the Irwin’s, understandably viewers did not see the couple celebrating their big day with a glass of bubbly.
Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2016, the now 21-year-old confessed: ‘I haven’t [tried alcohol]. I am so wild that I haven’t even had Coca-Cola before. Can you believe that? I wanted to see how long I can go without it,’ she said.
‘I might have some Coca-Cola on my 18th but I’m gonna see. I’m going to see if I’m that crazy!
‘My mum [Terri Irwin] always says, “I look at you and it’s like I’ve trapped this 86-year-old inside a 17-year-old’s body.”‘
The wholesome animal activist also admitted to WHO in 2014 that her wildest moment was sampling a cup of coffee for the first time at a music festival.
‘Mum always said try to avoid too much caffeine,’ she said. ‘I called mum up and I go, “I’m so sorry!” I felt so bad.’
