Actor Todd Lasance has spoken about the tragic and shocking death of his Bite Club co-star Jessica Falkholt – who passed away after a car accident earlier this year, before their show debuted on TV.
Speaking exclusively to WHO’s TV podcast, Binge List, Todd revealed the shock and devastation of cast members, after rising star Jessica perished following the shocking Boxing Day crash that also claimed the lives of her parents, Lars, 60 and Vivienne, 60, as well as sister Annabelle, 21.
‘It was really upsetting, to be honest with you, a real shockwave. She was just so lovely, and so good. It was really heartbreaking,’ said Todd.
‘I was back at home [when it happened] and staying in tune with the news, every day. And then hearing of her passing, it’s just too tragic.
‘You can’t really think about it too much, you don’t even understand what her family would be going through. But it’s such a loss she was so lovely to us in that small amount of time.’

Jessica, who had also worked on Home and Away, was just on the cusp of her career breakthrough when she passed away. As well as completing parts in Mystery Road and Bite Club, she had also filmed a role in Aussie feature film, Harmony.
Jessica’s Bite Club episodes have yet to screen, with the program debuting last night on Channel Nine.
