The actress relived a childhood pain on Instagram whilst filming an appearance for long-running children’s show Sesame Street.

Lively, 30, shared a photo with Big Bird, revealing she used to be teased for being “too tall” and having “yellow” hair, with kids nicknaming her after the character.

“Still geeking out😍. Kids used to make fun of me in elementary school by calling me Big Bird (because I was “too tall” and had “yellow” hair). Here’s to making best buddies with the things that once hurt you 🥂💗”.

Not afraid of speaking out about body shaming, the mum-of-two slammed the pressure to lose weight after pregnancy in 2016, after giving birth to daughter James.

“You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret-ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer,” Lively said in 2016. “I mean you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”
