Filming for The Rhythm Section has been suspended after Blake Lively’s hand injury.
The actress sustained the injury while filming the spy thriller in December last year, with the movie’s studio, Paramount Pictures, confirming that filming was halted at the time.
Deadline has now reported that production has shut down again as Lively recovers. There is no set date to continue.
In July, Lively expressed her excitement to be working on the project. “Yes. Yes. Yes!!! I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing this incredible and complex 🚺 hero to life. 🎥🎞 ,” she wrote on Instagram alongside an image of Burnell’s original novel.
The Rhythm Section is slated for release in February 2019.
