The Voice coach has revealed that there is a possibility that Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner could play the Culture Club singer in an upcoming movie biopic.

In an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa today, the iconic British star admitted that while he didn’t yet know who was set to portray him, Sophie Turner has been put forward as a possibility.
“One of the most interesting suggestions was Sophie Turner,” the star confirmed.
“It’s really strange but that’s been a suggestion — I think that will upset people, which I really like — (people saying) ‘Oh she can’t play you, she’s a woman!’
“But you know, when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her … that was the ambition!”
Last month George confirmed rumours that a movie biopic of his colourful life – the singer battled drug addiction in the 1990s – was in the works and that he was very much looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.
