The 56-year-old heartthrob told PeopleTV things are going well in his life as he walked the red carpet Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium.
“It’s a beautiful day here in LA. We got it well, we got it really good,” he gushed.
“I got friends, I got lovely kids, I like my coffee, I like my dogs. I’ve got no complaints.”
Earlier this week, Jen, 50, also broke her silence about her reunion with her ex-husband – the pair were together from 2000-2005.
Speaking to ExtraTV after her best actress in a drama series win for The Morning Show, the star told the outlet that the victory meant even more coming from her peers — including fellow winner, Brad, 56.
“We’ve all grown up together, we really have,” she said, “and it just feels like a really fun night to celebrate and cheer each other on and keep working.”
Jen added: “There are not dark hours, but, you know, you don’t really have that much of a life, so it’s nice to come out and put a pretty dress on and sort of celebrate your friends and their work, and inspire each other to keep going — and like [Brad] said, it’s back to work tomorrow.”
The former lovers thrilled fans when they publicly reunited at the awards, marking the first time they have been seen in public together since their 2005 split.
The night also saw Brad make a cheeky reference to his second ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
“Let’s be honest. It was a difficult part,” he said of his OUATIH role. “A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get on with his wife.
It was a big stretch,” he quipped whilst accepting the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his part in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
The camera quickly planned to Jen, who clapped and smirked as the room erupted into laughter and applause.
