They’re the first same-sex couple to appear on the reality show Bride and Prejudice, and Ange and Dylan have struggled to get Ange’s dad John’s approval since day dot due to his Christian roots.

He holds the belief that his daughter is just going through a phase and will ultimately end up with a man. John previously told his daughter on the show that “I think your infatuation with women is because of the loss of your mother [and] I’m trying to tell you you’re confused.”
But an Instagram post has reveals that other people have previously tried to thwart Ange’s relationship with Dylan, but they managed to overcome it.
“I can’t possibly question your loyalty when you screenshot thirsty anons trying to steal you discreetly,” Dylan wrote on Dec. 20, 2017.
Speaking to WHO, Dylan says, “The only person who has an effect on my relationship with Ange is Ange herself.” Ange adds, “I think my mum would’ve absolutely loved Dylan.”
