Bride and Prejudice’s same-sex couple Dylan and Ange struggled to see eye to eye with Ange’s father, John, a devout Christian who believed his daughter was simply going through a “phase”.
However, after the show, they’ve managed to convince him that their love is genuine and they’re both in it for the long-haul.

“It’s absolutely amazing. We had John and the family over for a barbecue the other week and it was just great! I nearly lit the house on fire and John saved it!” Dylan says.
“He’s been really caring after each episode. He’s given Ange a call to make sure she’s OK with everything and just constantly reassuring us of his love.”
Now that they have in-law approval, can fans expect the lovers to expand their family? “Ha ha! The question on everyone’s mind!” Dylan teases.
Before admitting, “Yes! Ange and I do want to have children. We aren’t sure when or how. Certainly not soon, because we both have a lot of career plans we would like to accomplish first. And if you could all please join me in convincing Ange she’d be the cuter pregnant one, that would be great!”
Dylan also says going on the show has revealed a whole new part of her partner she never new existed. “Day to day, Ange is very emotionless, so seeing this whole new side to her, where she had to show emotion nearly daily, and supporting her through that, really bonded us together even more.”
