Buckingham Palace have reportedly responded to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle engagement rumours.
According to Hello! a spokesperson for the royals refused to comment on the couple’s impending wedding news saying they “would not give a running commentary on Harry’s love life”.
This, along with the fact that bookmakers have suspended all betting on the couple’s engagement, have led royal followers to believe that an announcement will be made very soon.
“We believe the happy couple are already engaged and possible have been for some time,” a spokesperson for William Hill said.
Meghan arrived in London last week as she prepares to move into Kensington Palace with Harry.
“Harry has made no secret of the fact that he wants to marry her,” a source said. “She is the one.”
So how will you know when the couple are officially engaged?
Only Buckingham Palace will make the announcement, nobody else.
Kate and William’s engagement news was shared by the palace in the early morning which was followed by a photo call at St. James’s Palace.
They then did an on-camera interview with Sky News where William explained how he proposed.
It is likely that Meghan and Harry will follow suit.
