Rita Ora has been treated for exhaustion following a gruelling work schedule and a harrowing court appearance.
Revealing her ailing health on social media, the Kosovo-born British singer and actress, 25, wrote, “Today was pretty tough but I’m getting through it thank you all my fans and friends for the support! I love you!” accompanied by a photo of herself hooked up to an IV drip.
She also uploaded the photo to Instagram with the hashtag #exhaustionisreal, although this image was later removed.
The ‘This Is How We Do’ singer is in the middle of filming 50 Shades Darker — the sequel to 50 Shades of Grey -– in Canada and has travelled extensively in recent months between her Los Angeles base and the Vancouver film set. She also appeared in a London court on June 22 to give evidence against a man who burgled her London home.
The break-in occurred on Nov. 28, 2015, while Ora and her sister Elena were sleeping. As the 999 emergency services phone call was played back to the court, Ora became emotional. “That phone call freaked me out a bit – give me a moment,” she said before fixing her composure.
Charaf El Moudden, 26, was found guilty on June 29 by a jury at Harrow Crown Court of stealing personal property to the value of £200,000, including handbags and mobile phones.
Ora’s ex DJ Calvin Harris also caused speculation that the pair had rekindled their romance when they re-followed each other on social media on June 22, but rumours were quickly squashed when Harris, 32, jetted off to Cabo San Luca for a holiday with a boatload of women
