In a tense moment during The All New Monty: Ladies’ Night, Casey Donovan appeared to break down in the leadup to the charity burlesque show.
While rehearsing with dancer and choreographer Todd McKenney, the Australian Idol alumn became overwhelmed after struggling with some dance moves.
“I’m having an anxiety attack,” she told Home And Away’s Georgie Parker as she burst into tears.

Speaking about her panic attack, Casey says the performance is the most she’s ever been out of her comfort zone.
“Being the only plus, plus size woman in this cast, it’s confronting. I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis, I could feel it creeping in,” she confessed in voice-over.
As Georgie whisked Casey off to the bathroom, a surprised Todd asked if she was okay.
“She’s feeling a bit overloaded,” Ella Hooper explained.

Prior to Sunday’s episode, Casey admitted that when she was first asked to be a part of Ladies’ Night, she had to think about it.
“It was a massive thing for me to take on board,” the 31-year-old told The Morning Show.
“It’s taken me many years to be confident within my own body and stand my ground and go, I’m fit, I’m healthy, and I can do amazing things with my life.
“To bare half of me, when usually I like the lights off and for nobody to really see me in that state, it was a big thing to stand there and go, I am me, I am confident – this is who I am.”

Casey’s breakdown wasn’t the only emotional moment in The All New Monty: Ladies Night.
During a piece-to-camera, Nadia Bartel shed tears as she addressed her split with husband Jimmy Bartel
“It’s been a tough time personally for me recently. It’s just so painful,” the 34-year-old said as footage and photos of the young family aired.
Nadia seemed to well up momentarily, before continuing to discuss her appearance in the charity burlesque show.
“I’m hoping with Ladies’ Night it will give me more confidence,” she admitted with a smile. “Obviously we’re there for the cause, but I think it will be great for me to put myself out there, doing something that is definitely totally out of my comfort zone. I think it will give me a whole new load of confidence.”
